At Stonebridge, it's our desire that people have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and with other Christ followers. We believe that discipleship (the process of learning about and changing our lives to be more like Christ) happens best in a small group environment. We call our small groups Community Groups.

A Community Group is a group of 6-12 people who meet regularly with a designated leader in a host home.  The purpose of these groups is spiritual growth which results in serving and sharing God's love with others.

Why Should I Join a Community Group?

Community Groups are one of the best ways to grow in your walk with God. You will learn new truths about God, how he designed you and ways that you can share God's love with others.

As part of a community group you will:

  • Study the Bible
  • Pray about life issues
  • Fellowship & care for one another-- maybe share a meal, go to a ball game, visit a group member in the hospital
  • Serve together--maybe participate in a church-wide or city-wide clean-up day, serve meals at a community shelter or help a neighbor in need
