2010 Church Family Day a Success!
     Nearly 190 people joined us at Cherry Hill Park on Saturday, July 31st for a fun time of games, prizes, various activities, and good food and conversation. The highlight of the day was the water balloon toss, with the pastors as our targets! We hope you can join us in 2012!

Sample Schedule of Events:
8-9 am: Trail Walk & Fellowship
9-11 am: Arrival & check-in
10 am-12 pm: Activities for all ages! 
     * Kickball, yard games, kids crafts, CR Firetruck!
12 Noon: Lunch
     * Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, chips, salads, drinks
12:45 pm: Group Activity
1:15-4 pm: More activites for all ages
     * Team & yard games, Sparkles the Clown, Bingo!
Many also enjoyed a Kernels Baseball Game & Fireworks together later that evening!
                                     
     

           Stonebridge Family Camp 2011
                         @ Hidden Acres

                                                     Good news! 
                    The dates are set for July 29-31, 2011! 

      Hidden Acres Family Camp is a weekend each summer to get away with your church family to enjoy great food, meet new people, and worship together. Hidden Acres is our central district camp, which covers 660 acres of wooded property near Boone, IA. Just as Stonebridge has made changes (big changes!) to accommodate our growing family, so has Hidden Acres! As many of you saw in 2009, the camp has added a beautiful motel-type lodge that will be completed this year. With this addition, along with other improvements, Hidden Acres can now accommodate as many as 700 campers at one time! Wow, what a great outreach this facility serves!

This also means additional staff and administrative requirements for the camp. Since our group of 200 would not be the only group on site, advanced reservations, along with a contract and deposit, are now required one year in advance. Later this year (2010) we will be asking for pre-registration to allow ample time to secure the space we need, the room type you prefer, and the activities you enjoy. Each year the camp has held down expenses as best as possible, but we have traditionally taken a 3-5% increase in meal costs. For those wanting to reserve a room at The Inn, the room rates are comparable to a local motel.

In the coming months we will be working on the pricing schedule for our 2011 Family Camp with Hidden Acres. As soon as the schedule is finalized, we will post updates to this web page. Thanks for your patience! We hope to see you there!
